VRF units work more like a light bulb dimmer, only using the exact amount of power needed to serve the spaces. So, if you have a room that goes empty most of the time like a guest bedroom or a bonus space, why spend the money to keep it cold or warm? With a VRF unit, you can save energy by only turning the HVAC on in those spaces when you need it.
3. Quiet as a Library
Gone are the days of an air conditioning unit roaring outside your window. And if that equipment is right outside a bedroom window, it can make for a long night of trying to sleep. VRF units are so quiet, you will be surprised they are operating at all. That makes these heating and cooling units perfect for families with newborns or other sleepers that are sensitive to noise.
4. Combined Heating and Cooling
Keeping track of home maintenance is hard enough – having a separate heater and air conditioner is double the work. A VRF unit is an all-in-one heating and cooling unit. In the HVAC industry, we call this a heat pump. Heat pumps are perfect for our mild climate in the San Fernando Valley. One system means less maintenance, which means less to worry about.
